Swiss Finance + Technology Association Ecosystem Development Internship

SFI Knowledge Catalyst provides you with the opportunity to gain work
experience at the Swiss Finance + Technology Association. The Swiss Finance +
Technology Association is a non-profit association with over 500 individual
members, created to foster the Swiss FinTech ecosystem across all stakeholders
(i.e. entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, creatives, academics, media, etc.).

We are looking for one or possibly two motivated interns who are digital-savvy
and can play a key role within content creation, marketing, social media and
events. This is your chance to gain experience learning about top themes
shaping digitization and innovation in the financial industry, broaden your
network, as well as to get exposure to some of the greatest up and coming
companies and leaders in the country.


The target start date is July 1st, 2017 for 3 months with a flexible
time commitment ranging from 80% to 100%. You will be mainly working from the
Impact Hub in Zurich. There is also the potential for this to continue as an
ongoing role.


Events – planning and
executing events in collaboration with volunteers, ensuring all calendars is
up-to-date, managing RSVP's & invites for internal events, finding venues
& organising catering, photography, print materials, and then post-event mailings
to attendees and survey compilation

Marketing – Optimizing (e.g. content, layout, SEO), preparing the regular
newsletter, media relations, PR and communications work
in general

Social media – creating,
managing, and growing the its presence through LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and
other strategically relevant channels

Skills and attributes:

Proactive and excellent
communication skills, ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders

A team
player who is well organised and able

to multitask

Comfortable in a dynamic
and unpredictable environment with competing priorities

Passion for financial
services, the technology

sector, innovation and

Experience with event

Someone who has fun doing
the job


Working permit for

Fluent German and English,
ideally also Swiss German

Proficient in Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel,

PPT) and experience of
Google docs preferred

Ideally experience with
Meetup, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Buffer, etc.
