Sales Development Representative - DACH

Being a Sales Development Representative at Avrios

What you tell your family you do:
"I am responsible for expanding our business in the DACH region. No, I wouldn't sell my mother."

What you really do:
-Qualify the leads and partner the Account Executive to follow-up until closing.
-Understand the needs of our target prospects and articulate the value that Avrios provides.
-Maintain accurate information on prospects and interaction activities in our CRM.
-Become an expert in Avrios.
-Work closely with the marketing team to develop new ways to increase awareness of Avrios and to both evolve and improve the lead qualification process.

How you do it:
-You build customer relationships from scratch
-You make your own decisions and prioritise your own tasks
-You lead and take responsibility for projects depending on your preferences and skills
-You work closely together with the team to reach ambitious goals. There is always room for great ideas (and nerf gun battles).
-You use all your entrepreneurial skills to be successful and become a driving force in new markets

A day in the life of:
Start the day with a coffee and sales stand-up meeting, discussing daily and weekly goals with my team. It's always good to verbalise the plan for the day. First prospecting call of the day is imminent, time to understand the potential customer's needs that marketing has helped cultivate and solve their pains with the software. They are a good fit for Avrios, so you hand them over to your Account Executive. The phone rings It’s Mr. X who checked out our website. He would like to learn more about our pricing. The day continues with several prospecting calls and follow ups from yesterday. There is still quite a few email responses from prospects dripping into my inbox, so I'll work through those as I go. Towards the evening, there is no point to call anymore, so I prepare the next day. Who else would be a good fit for us? I'll discuss it with marketing and we set up tomorrow's campaign.
The ideal Sales Development Representative is a hungry, perseverant and focused native German speaker who is not afraid to hit the phone to engage with new customers and grow our sales.

What we ask for:
-0-2 years of experience working in a Sales / Customer faced position
-University graduate of Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related subject
-Good understanding of B2B solution selling with a short sales cycle.
-Hungry and ambitious, yet ethical and sound.
-Strong character and perseverance.
-Able to work as an individual contributor, but bearing in mind you are part of a team.
-Customer-centric mindset.
-Native level German, spoken and written.
-English decently spoken and written business level required
