The SFI Knowledge Catalyst provides you with the opportunity to gain work experience at Corestone Investment Managers. Corestone Investment Managers is a multi-asset multi-management company based in Zug, Switzerland. Backed by the Robeco Group, the company operates at arms’ length with an independent investment process and provides services to an institutional client base.
Staffed by experienced investment professionals with diverse international backgrounds, we are looking for an intern to assist us on a specific project. The position offers an exclusive insight into the everyday business of an institutional asset manager.
Corestone Investment Managers offers:
The intern will work directly for the Head of Asset Allocation and will assist him in finishing a project in a timely manner. It includes a quantitative study around the evolution of asset classes and financial market innovations and the effects on institutional investor portfolios in terms of portfolio composition as well as portfolio performance and risk.
Preferably, the candidate would start working the next possible workweek. Estimated length of the project is 4-6 months. Work percentage can be negotiated.
• Applicable finance / economics / math degree
• Prior experience with empirical studies
• Self-starter with drive to excel
• Good knowledge of empirical, statistical methods and portfolio construction theory
• English or German should be fluent
Duration: 4-6 months
Start date: Asap
