Internship: Content Marketing

The companies we work with are world leaders in sports goods, drinks, pharma, consulting and machine manufacturing. In order to grow, their people need to be constantly on the move. At Avrios, we are all about helping our customers move in the most convenient and efficient way possible. As the first fully digital fleet manager we help them make complex decisions, which involve hundreds of data points, in a matter of seconds. We take them from running hundreds of transactions every month in Excel spreadsheets to buying, leasing, renting, managing and selling their cars with the click of just a few buttons.

Founded in February 2015, it is our relentless focus, fast iteration and speed of execution which have made us the fastest growing company in our industry. We currently manage fleets of more than 400 companies. We are proud of what we have already achieved, yet it feels like we have just started. To truly unleash our potential we are looking for a team of content marketers.

Content marketing is the gold standard of today’s (online) marketing. Content marketing is the magic that allowed Moz.com and Hubspot.com to become some of the biggest technology firms or how riverpoolandspars.com grew from 20 employees to the biggest pool installation firm in the USA. As a content marketer, you will apply this magic at Avrios and thereby significantly contribute to the firm’s future. Content marketing combines the disciplines of journalism, online marketing, and PR. You will work with the tools of all three disciplines and at Avrios you will work with some of the best experts in the field.

What you tell your family you do:
"I am a content marketer for a fast growing software startup. No, it's not exactly like Mad Men..."

What you really do:
-From the ideation to the implementation, you will take on responsibility for your own content campaigns
-You will conduct research on topics centred around fleet management
-You will write some of the best structured and best-performing content to be found on the internet
-You will tell compelling stories through engaging infographics
-You will set up the online marketing tools to measure campaign performance and use your analytical skills to constantly improve campaign performance
-You will use all your creativity to create marketing material that is engaging and solves our customer’s problems; e.g. you create infographics, presentations, graphs, videos etc.
-You take responsibility to promote your campaigns on relevant online platforms

-You do whatever it takes
-While you are someone who gets stuff done, details are important to you
-You don’t need someone else to tell you what is right or wrong, you just figure it out
-You are humble enough to understand that you never stop learning
-You usually over-deliver on your targets because that’s who you are

What we ask for:
-Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree (preferably in Business, Communications, Advertising, Public relations or related field)
-You are hungry to learn
-You have a talent for structured writing
-Telling compelling stories is what makes you happy
-You value facts over hearsay
-Business level written and spoken English
-Native German speaker
-EU/Schengen citizenship or Swiss work permit
-Willingness to do an internship of at least three months (preferably six months)
