PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Business
Development team is part of the COO organization and supports the sales force
with the continuous effort to discover value and to make relevant USPs of SAP
solutions visible. With deep business and market understanding the team drives
the business development process to create awareness, raise demand and to
support the deal until closure.



Business Development
works together with customers and prospects in areas of IT strategy and
business analysis to develop internal and external strategy enablement plans
with clear TCO and ROI. The team is a high impact organization of people with
expert knowledge in value selling methodologies, SAP solutions and one or more
industries.




EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

In this function, you are involved as a general
support in the field of:

  • Industry Assessment & Customer Analysis
  • Development of Industry-/ Market Strategy
  • Definition of Demand Generation Activities
  • Support of Account Planning









 

With main focus on
Value Engineering Services:


  • Generate value propositions / business cases with
    qualitative and quantified monetary benefits
  • Create value-based roadmaps that help SAP sales and
    customers create a strategy for software purchase decisions
  • Create Benchmarks
  • Support of Point of Views (PoVs)










 


Internship details:

  • Start of internship: As soon as possible
  • Master's degree student for minimum 6 months are
    welcome

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied
    sciences with major in Business Administration, Business Information Technology
    or similar
  • Computer skills: Very good knowledge with MS-Office
    products
  • Language skills: Very good German and English language
    skills (spoken and written)
  • Deep understanding of economic figures and company
    KPIs and ability to deal with financial figures
  • Knowledge of business case calculations
  • Previous experience with IT are advantageous
  • Communicative and independent person
  • Professional discretion as well as organizing work
    efficiently and working in precise and orderly manner come as a second nature
    to you




















Your set of
