IKEA CH: Internship Learning & Development

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

In the IKEA Switzerland’s Leadership and Competence Development team, we take a systematic approach to strengthening co-worker competence and leadership, ensuring development focuses on the good of our customers, our business, and our people. To support the coordination of IKEA’s Learning Management system and the day-to-day business of our national Leadership and Competence Development department, we are looking for an intern. In joining us, you will help strengthen the capabilities of our co-workers to meet IKEA’s strategic priorities to remain a leader in the Swiss home furnishing market.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
We are looking for an intern to join IKEA Switzerland’s Leadership and Competence Development team and perform the following tasks with a high degree of independence:
- Assist IKEA Switzerland’s Competence Development Leader to effectively administrate IKEA’s Learning Management System (LMS), including the registration of new trainings, collecting participant feedback, and running country-wide reports through various LMS tools.
- Ensure the country Learning Offer is up to date, and support execution and delivery of Learning Solutions
- Support the coordination, communication and facilitation of business competence development on a country level
- Help define processes through visualizing process maps using Visio
- Aid in the design, testing and implementation of a new Skill Strength Finder Assessment tool
- Contribute to the country Competence and Leadership Development Action Plan Projects
- Support the development of new Learning Solutions

YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, General Management or Organizational Development. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in Organizational Development or Learning & Development
- Excellent English (written and spoken) is mandatory. A good knowledge of a local Swiss language is a plus (German, French, or Italian)
- Effective communicator at all levels of an organization
- High attention to detail and strong analysis skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic VISIO
- Ability to learn and administrate new Business Software Applications (i.e. LMS software)
