Behavioral Finance Analyst (part-time, remote location)

We are a special award winner start-up from SIX Hackathon 2017 in Zurich and are currently in the final round for a place in Switzerland’s prestigious F10 FinTech Incubator & Accelerator.
Our international team is aiming to deliver regulatory compliance (focus on risk profiling) and in-depth customer insights to the financial institutions by merging social media, behavioral finance, machine learning and data analytics.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Behavioral Finance Analyst willing to join a fast paced, heavily collaborative and iterative environment. You will be responsible for the conception of the customer engaging behavioral finance game framework as well as actionable customer insights based on the analysis of customer behavior on social media and other open sources.

Acting as a behavioral economics subject expert you will consult a team on complex matters from both internal as well as external perspective. You will also closely collaborate with the data scientist to deliver predictive analytics solutions combined with behavioral economic.

  • Graduate or post-graduate qualification involving behavioral research with a component of quantitative methods for social sciences (BA/BSc in behavioral/decision sciences, economics, psychology) and hands-on knowledge and experience in the field
    Broad knowledge of social and behavioral science theory and applications
    Ability to apply experimental and quasi-experimental methods
    Strong survey development and analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative analysis skills)
    Experience in applying behavioral economics findings (from experiments and behavioral interventions) to product and services in a professional setting.
    Strong proven oral and written skills in English and ideally in German
  • Passionate about innovation and technology

    Ability to work independently and plan your own solutions to problems
    Be communicative, friendly and fun to work with
